36 hours, three real-world challenges, and plenty of teamwork: students and young professionals develop innovative solutions for the energy sector. Workshops on design thinking, business development, and pitch training provide the foundation for the intensive working phase. The focus is on developing practical ideas, building prototypes, and delivering compelling pitches.

On June 26–27, 2026, the Startup Elevator Energy Hackathon brings together students from all disciplines at the Weinberg Campus technology park to work on real-world challenges in the energy sector. The hackathon is organized by TGZ Halle (Startup Elevator initiative), in collaboration with the Transfer and Startup Service of MLU Halle, and supported by Stadtwerke Halle GmbH.
