The 42nd (IT)² Day will take place on May 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM at the Institute of Computer Science at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. It is one of the key networking events connecting students, researchers, and the IT industry in Central Germany.

The event is aimed at students, researchers, and regional IT companies and typically attracts 90 to 180 participants. In addition to company presentations, booths, and panel discussions—covering topics such as artificial intelligence—it offers opportunities for exchange, insights into current research, and concrete career options (internships, theses, jobs).

At the booth of the Transfer and Startup Service, you can explore another option: entrepreneurship.
 

What to expect at our booth:

  • Insights into how you can join a startup—even without your own idea
  • Exchange with early-stage startup teams looking for members
  • Orientation on where your skills are needed in a startup
  • Introduction to the new SCIDEA Robotics Lab—an incubator where interdisciplinary teams develop applied solutions (e.g. in healthcare) and turn them into startup ideas
