What is SCIDEA STAGE?
Do you have an idea or a new process sitting in a drawer, or are you researching an innovative approach that makes work easier, improves lives, or helps protect the environment? Or maybe you’ve developed a new business model? Then submit your idea to SCIDEA STAGE! This pitch competition offers your idea a safe space, coaching, a stage to present your concept, and constructive feedback from experts in innovation and entrepreneurship. Win prize money and receive valuable feedback from our expert jury.
Approach
For SCIDEA STAGE 2025, the five most promising submissions will be nominated. Each selected team presents its idea in a three-minute pitch to a jury of innovation experts. The jury provides valuable feedback and selects the winning teams.
Who can participate?
We’re looking for ideas from students and early-career researchers from all disciplines at MLU. Submissions can be made individually or as a team. The application is submitted online with a short project outline.
Timeline
- by 28 October: Submit your idea outline
- on 3 November: Nomination and announcement of the five finalists for SCIDEA STAGE 2025
- on 18 November: 3-minute idea pitch on stage, 5-minute jury feedback, award ceremony, followed by networking and exchange
