Our webinar provides a practical introduction to trademark registration, including types of trademarks, territories of protection, and applications through the DPMA, EUIPO, or WIPO. You will also learn what classes of goods and services are and how to choose the right ones.
This is followed by interactive session featuring case studies, questions, a walk-through of the registration process, and feedback on your individual trademark.

Dr. Robert Szczesny is our consultant for intellectual property and property rights for startup projects at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. He is responsible for general questions regarding the protection of intellectual property and the development of protection and exploitation strategies for IP objects. Dr. Szczesny has a doctorate in biology and holds a master's degree in patent engineering. He has been working for the Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office since August 2012.
