At the end of the intense training you have the opportunity to present your pitch to invited experts and financiers to receive valuable feedback and, of course, to make new contacts. Startup FOCUS is a workshop offered by the International Startup Campus (ISC), a joint project of the central German university network Halle-Jena-Leipzig. The project is funded until 2024 by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection as part of the EXIST Potentials program. The Transfer and Entreprenuership Office MLU Halle coordinates the Startup.Academy for the MLU in the joint project. Startup.Academy is the qualification platform with training and workshop offers for (inter)national people interested in founding a company and start-up teams for strategic company development and the scaling of business models for (international market entry with a focus on East Asia.

Steffen Ahrens ist Gründungsberater im Verbundprojekt International Startup Campus bzw. beim Transfer- und Gründerservice der Uni Halle. Seinen Abschluss als Diplom-Kaufmann erwarb er 2007 an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) und arbeitete anschließend im Marketing & Vertrieb von Industrieunternehmen. Seit 2012 arbeitet er als Projektmanager und Gründungsberater an der MLU. Sein Schwerpunkt ist die Geschäftsmodellentwicklung.
