Do you have an idea with potential for society, science or business? SCIDEA STAGE - the idea competition of MLU - offers students and researchers at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) the opportunity once a year to present their ideas in a protected setting.

The prize money for SCIDEA STAGE is sponsored by Stadtwerke Halle GmbH.

Early of November 2026 - Announcement of the Nominees

Nomination of the 5 most convincing ideas.

18 November 2026 - Pitch on SCIDEA STAGE

The idea presenters have three minutes to present their idea. Afterwards, the expert jury has five minutes for questions and feedback. The evaluation is based on persuasiveness, solution approach, and application potential using a point-based system. The three winners will be announced right after the presentations, followed by an award ceremony on stage.
